The design of Pizza 4P’s Emporium tells a story of delight – a narrative that comes alive through the open environment and dynamic interiors of the establishment.

Designed by studio SEMBA VIETNAM, the interiors reinforce the brand identity and carry forward the company’s mission of sharing happiness through food. The brand’s popularity hinges on the diversity of their pizza toppings, the quality of their food, ingredients and service, and unequivocally, on the interiors. To that end, SEMBA aims to design the space through the timeless elegance of natural materials and the positivity of open, bright spaces.

Embracing hospitality and functionality, the spatial arrangement diversifies seating into zones, offering spaces for every visitor – the formal, informal, counter and outdoor. A relaxing environment breathes contentedness and plants bring in a touch of colour, energising the space.

The predominant use of wood for the ceiling, vertical partitions, wall panels and even the furniture, highlights the material’s versatility, while concrete makes for an understated backdrop against which all else stands out. Terrazzo finds its way in the flooring and drink counter as brass accents the spaces, adding richness without being superfluous.

However, the wooden curved gates and partitions are elements that instantly grab attention, unique against the rectilinear space and the linear pattern of the ceiling and wall panels. Picking up subtle references common to local Vietnamese culture and the founder’s Japanese origins, the interiors incorporate the colour Indigo to symbolise respect towards both countries.

Currently gathering appreciation from over the world for its culinary excellence, SEMBA’s design does justice to the establishment’s currently popular status.
