EDDA Architecture transforms the IMAK Ofset Management Office in Istanbul with an experience-centric design, energised with splashes of colour.
Toeing the rationale of colour psychology and its impact on employee performance, here is an office that yet again explores the theory in its individualistic way. The design of the 2500 sq. m. office centres on creating a comfortable, inspiring environment for its users that drives and boosts employee performance and motivation.

Implementing a functional approach that stems from a transparent, fluid design concept, the modern interiors of the office make liberal use of colours, materials, textures and interior landscaping. Accommodating user demands, departments and functions across its three floors, the interiors adopt a unique style – a combination of elements to shape the corporate identity of the company and bring it to prominence. Integrated with technology, the design amps the user communication level as well.

The entrance takes on a circular form, framing the reception and waiting areas. With the layered composition of the ceiling, lighting and furniture mirroring the organic form, the space preserves its sculptural, three-dimensional quality throughout.
While the first floor houses the showroom and meeting rooms; and the second floor hosts the manager rooms, boardrooms, lounges and cafeteria, among others; departments are set up around central social areas, mindful of respective interactions. Showcasing diversity through colour selections and warm materials, the department design portrays a dynamic, vivid image.

Balance is maintained by anointing the managers’ rooms with a more minimalist style, featuring rugs, marble, natural wood and metal. The cafeteria entertains up to 170 people while the terrace and social areas are recreational areas meant for socialisation and relaxation.
With the spaces maximising the use of natural light, social areas and workspaces encourage positivity and productivity. Offering creative solutions to craft an environment that goes beyond conventional workspace design, EDDA Architecture embraces design psychology to get motivation on-the-move.
